PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, <br />April 18, 1989 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Roy Shumway <br />Mr. Michael Terry <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Marl: Banwmt <br />Mr. Merland Otto/Hakanson Anderson Associates <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Holm <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the special Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to <br />order at 8:20 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Request For A Conditional Use Permit To Operate An <br />Aluminum Recovery And Processing Business; Case Of <br />Danny's Aluminum Processing, Inc.: <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman noted that the Commission conducted a public hearing on April 4 <br />regarding Mr. Karst's request for a conditional use permit to operate an aluminum <br />processing facility in the I-1 Industrial District. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the proposed findings of fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Terry to recommend that <br />City Council adopt the f'mdings of fact relating to Mr. Karst's request for a conditional use <br />permit, amended as follows: <br /> <br />Planning & Zoning Commission/April 18, 1989 <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
