PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, May <br />16, 1989 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr, Terry Henclriksen <br />Mr, Roy Shumway <br /> <br />Aisc Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Mark Banwart <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Holm <br />Mr. Michael Terry <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the special Planning and Zoning meeting to order at 7:41 p.m. <br /> <br />cFr]ZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None, <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart informed the Commission that Commissioner Holm has indicated he will be <br />submitting a letter of resignation. It has been suggested by the City Administrator that the <br />Commission appoint several members to work with the Personnel Department and Council <br />during the replacement selection process. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shumway stated he prefers to involve all of the Commissioners in the interview <br />process and then select several Commissioners to meet with the Council and present the <br />recommendation. Commissioner Hendriksen agreed. <br /> <br />Consensus was reached to meet at 6:30 p.m. on June 6th to conduct interviews of the five <br />applicants and to follow the process suggested by Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart suggested the Commission delete Case ~¢8 regarding the draft park dedication <br />ordinance since it has already been considered by the Council at a May 11th meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to delete Case <br />#8, Review Draft Park Dedication Ordinance, from the agenda. <br /> <br />Planning & Zoning Commission/May 16, 1989 <br /> Page 2 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
