COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Cfise #1 R,:.que$1 for Sk~t6h PlCn R~,vi~w ~f Evergreen Estates: Case of Mr. <br /> Lcvi~ Wilh¢lmi. <br /> <br />Merland Ollo told the Commission that staff recommenoation was to accept cash as park <br />dedicalion for Evergreen Estates. He also informed Mr. Wilhelmi that he had the option to <br />process his plat subject to the park dedication ordinance currently being considered for <br />adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson and seconded by Commissioner Prall Io recommend that park <br />dedication be satisfied by cash as stated in the Landscape Architect's review of June 28, 1989. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairman Hetland, Commissioners Prall, Johnson, Rustad <br />and Shumway. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Lokker. <br /> <br />Close #2 Discv~ Update of C~mprehen$ive Plan - Park and Recreation <br /> Chapter. <br /> <br />Merland Otto stated that when the City Council was reviewing the park dedication ordinance, <br />area developers indicated that it would be helpful to them if the City of Ramsey had a <br />comprehensive park plan on record. <br /> <br />Merland Otto suggested conducting a survey in the Ramsey Resident and obtaining input from <br />Claudia Dodge regarding park needs. This information could be used in compiling the <br />comprehensive park plan. <br /> <br />.Case #3 Review Proposed Park Dedication Ordinance. <br /> <br />Merland Otto review the proposed park dedication ordinance. <br /> <br />Merland Otto explained that this ordinance is the one the City Council intends to adopt if the <br />Planning and Zoning and Park and Recreation Commissions do not have anything further to <br />discuss. <br /> <br />Motion by Acting Chairman Hetland and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to pass the park <br />dedication ordinance along to the City Council for approval. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairman Hettand, Commissioners Prall, Johnson, Rustad <br />and Shumway. Voting No: None.
