Mr. Peck feels that if North Fork develops the golf course il should be used as part of the park dedication which would leave little for cash dedication. Commissioner Helland asked Merland Otlo if ii would be possible to have Dennis Peck pul lhe cash in a bond until the golf course was finished and at that time he would get it back. Merland Otto said thai he has already mentioned this 1o Dennis. Dennis Peck told lhe Commission thal North Fork has about 1200 acres and that they have set aside 550 for public and open space. He told the Commission thai North Fork is considering the golf course as being public, because il will be open to lhe public. He said lhat 1hey are also contributing a cerlain amount lo the homeowners. Dennis also told the Commission that Norlh Fork has given a liltle more then 10% land dedication for the area south of 153rd. He told the Commission thai there was going lo be eighl to ten lots on this piece of land and the rest will be open to 1he public. He also..___..said thal under the agreement park dedication is complele for Norlh Fork except for the area(East~of Andrie vyhich has about 80 lots. Commissioner Hefland told Mr. Peck lhal 1he North Fork park syslem does not contribute very much lo the park system for all of Ramsey. What you have planned is a private 4 acre park for the people of North Fork. Merland Otlo 1old the Commission to remember 1hat North Fork 3rd and 4th are nol in this agreement. This is an amendment to the agreement that already exists. Motion by Commissioner Hefland and seconded by Commissioner Johnson to recommend denial relieving North Fork of cash park dedication for development west of Andrie (paragraph 16 of the proposed addendum). Motion carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Hetland, Lokker, Prall, Johnson and Rustad. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairman Lichter and Commissioners Shumway. Motion .by Commission Holland and seconded by Commission Prall to recommend acceptance of the amendment of Park Land Dedication for North Fork as proposed in the park dedication addendum (4-13-89) and as shown on Exhibit [3. Molion carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Holland, Lokker, Prall, Johnson and Rustad. No: None. Absent: Chairman Lichter and Commissioners Shumway.
