ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Economic Development Commission conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, February 8, 1989 at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard Northwest, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Ken Wagner, Chairman <br />Mr. Glen Hardin <br />Mr. Jack Ippel <br />Mr. Don Greenberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mr. Mark Banwart, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Mr. Bernie Vevea <br />Mr. Darryl Fults <br />Mr. Bob Muller <br />Mr. Tom Kurak <br />Mr. Steve Gorecki <br /> <br />Chairman Wagner called the regular Economic Development Commission meeting to order at 7:40 a.m. and noted <br />that there was not a quorum present. <br /> <br />APPROVAL QF AGENDA <br /> <br />The consensus was to approve the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MEETIN0 MINUTES <br /> <br />The Economic Development Commission meeting minutes were approved by consensus. <br /> <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council meeting minutes were duly noted. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS. <br /> <br />Case #1: Commission Goal Setting <br /> <br />It was suggested by Chairman Wagner that the Commission set priorities on it's projects. He would like to focus <br />on 3 to 4 goals to work on at one time until they are completed, goals that can be completed rather than starting <br />many projects and finishing nothing. <br /> <br />Some of the goals discussed were as follows: <br /> <br /> Star City Program <br /> Highway 10 Corridor Study <br /> McKinley Street / Industrial Park <br /> Transportation with an emphasis on the Mississippi River Bridge Crossing <br /> <br />This case will be discussed further at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Economic Development Commission / February 8, 1989 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
