Case #6: Introduce Off-Sale Liquor Ordinance And Review Resolution <br /> #88-241: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that since the adoption of Resolution #88-241, criteria for issuance of off- <br />sale liquor license, there is a new Council membership and suggested that the criteria be <br />reviewed for approval by the new Council. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cich noted that he disagrees with restricting the issuance of a 3rd off-sale <br />liquor license to the City's urban area. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to table review <br />of Resolution #88-241, Criteria For Issuance Of Off-Sale Liquor Licenses, until such time <br />that there is a full City Council membership present. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember DeLuca noted that it has been the City's policy to <br />encourage development in the urban area. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson and <br />Cich. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberPeterson. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that there is an off-sale liquor ordinance amendment proposed that would <br />make the City's off-sale ordinance more consistent with State law. Mr. Hartley <br />recommended introducing the ordinance and reviewing it in detail at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to introduce <br />Ordinance #89-X licensing and regulating the sale of off-sale intoxicating liquor. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson and <br />Cich. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberPeterson. <br /> <br />Case #7: Adopt Ordinance Dissolving The Landfill Commission: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that the proposed ordinance was previously introduced by Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adopt <br />Ordinance #88-6 which is an ordinance dissolving the Landfill Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson and <br />Cich. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberPeterson. <br /> <br />Case #8: Request To Purchase Truck And Equipment For Park And <br /> Street Departments: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adopt <br />Resolution #89-03-59 apporoving the purchase of a one-ton 4x4 cab and chassis from <br />Thomas Pontiac GMC for $14,822.80 and a dump body and plow for the truck from <br />Crysteel for $7,595.00. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson and <br />Cich. Voting No: None.
