Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Status Of Improvements; Oakwood Hills Addition: <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that in accordance with tile development agreement, improvements in <br />Oakwood Hills were to have been completed by June 30, 1989. To dine, surfacing, final <br />grading and restoration have not been completed. The developer has also not provided the <br />required performance bond relating to tile grading permi~ for Xenon Strem and intends to <br />delay paving Xenon. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmernber Cich lo authorize <br />City Staf{to exercise the City right on the letter of credit by July 24, 1989, if the developer <br />fails to complete the State I Improvements in Oakwood Hills Addition. Staff is also <br />directed to call the $10,000 letter of credit if the developer fails to extend the date for one <br />>,ear. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Recognition Of Ramsey Lions For Leadersip In Sponsoring <br />The 1989 3rd Annual Ramsey Lions Community Picnic: <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann presented a letter of recognition to all members of the Ramsey Lions for <br />their individual roles in providing leadership in the City of Ramsey. Accepting for all <br />Ramsev Lions were Dick Muller, Chuck Parker, Merle Mevissen and Olaf Olson. <br /> <br />Case #5: Request To Vacate Drainage Easement On Lot 3, Block 5, <br /> Whispering Pines Estates; Case Of Richard and Wendi Jarson: <br /> <br />Mr. Raati~ta stated that City Staff has negotiated with Richard and Wendi Jarson for the <br />construction of storm sewer improvements from Lot 3, Block 5, Whispering Pines Estates <br />to Lake hasca on a cost sharing basis with the City financing the project over a 10 year <br />period. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that since their meeting with City Staff, the Jarsons have been <br />informed by their mortgage company that a $12,500 assessment against the property will <br />place the loan application in a bad position for approval. <br /> <br />Wendi Jarson stated that if dr5, wells were used to resolve the drainage problem, she could <br />afford a 50/50 cost sharing; if storm sewers is the selected method, she could afford an <br /> <br />City Council/July 11, 1989 <br />Page 7 of 12 <br /> <br /> <br />
