Case # 3 : <br /> <br />ORDER COMBINED ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT WORKSHEET (EAW) <br />FOR WINDEMERE WOODS ADDITION, CEDAR HILLS ADDITION <br /> AND CHESTNUT HILLS ADDITION <br /> By: Mark S. Banwart, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On November 16, 1988, staff recommended to City Council that an Environmental Assessment <br />Worksheet (EAW) be ordered for Cedar Hills Addition, Win&mere Woods Addition and Chestnut <br />Hills Addition, whenever the City receives the sketch plan for Chestnut Hills Addition. <br /> <br />On January 3, 1989, the Planning and Zoning Conunission pffssed a motion to recommend to City <br />Council to order an EAW for the three developments. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The EAW should be prepared in accordance to Minnesota Rules 4410 Environmental Review; <br />Critical Areas. The City is the responsible government unit and is required to complete preparation <br />of the EAW within 25 working days. <br /> <br />Recommendations: <br /> <br />The developers should draft the EAW for review. The City should review, approve and issue the <br />EAW for EQB approval.
