shall be subject to the approval of the City <br />Council. The insurer on such liability insurance <br />policy shall be duly licensed to do business in the <br />Stale of Minnesota and the insurance policy shall <br />be approved as to form and execution by the City <br />attorney. Such liability insurance policy shall be <br />in the amount of not less than One Hundred <br />Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) coverage for <br />one (i) person, Three Hundied Thousand Dollars <br />($300,000.00) coverage if more than one <br />person, and shall specifically provide for the <br />paymont by the insurance company on behalf of <br />the insured of all sums which the insured shall <br />become obliged to pay by reason of liability <br />imposed upon him by law for injuries or damages <br />to persons other than employees, including the <br />liability imposed upon the insured by reason of <br />Section 340A.801, Minnesota Statutes. Such <br />liability insurance policy shall further provide <br />that no cancellation for any cause can be made <br />either by the insured or the insurance company <br />without first given ten (10) days notice to the <br />City in writing of intention to cancel the same, <br />addressed to the City Administrator. Further, it <br />shall provide that no payment of any claim by the <br />insurance company shall, in any manner, <br />decrease the coverage provided for in respect to <br />any other claim or claims brought a;ainst the <br />insured or company thereafter. Such policy shall <br />be conditioned that the insurer shall pay, to the <br />extent of the principal amount of the policy, any <br />damages for death or injury caused by, or <br />resulting from, the violation of any law relating <br />to the business for which such license has been <br />granted. The licensee and the City shall be <br />named as joint insured on 1he liability insurance <br />policy. <br /> <br />HOURS OF OPERATION <br />1. No "on sale" of alcoholic beverage shall be <br /> made aher 1:00 a.m. Sunday, nor until <br /> 8:00 a.m. Monday. No "on-sale" shall be <br /> made between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and <br /> 8:00 a.m. on any weekday. No "on-sale" <br /> shall be maOe after eight o'clock on <br /> December 24. <br />2. Special Sunday 'on sale' liquor licenses. <br /> H.otels, restaurants and clubs having special <br /> Sunday "on sale" liquor licenses may serve <br /> alcoholic beverage between the hours of <br /> 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight on Sunday, <br /> <br />notwithstanding the provisions of <br />Paragraph 1 above. <br />Except as otherwise herein provided, all 'on <br />sale' establishments, bottle clubs and <br />public drinking places shall be closed to the <br />public not later than one-half (1/2) hour <br />after the required time for stopping sales, <br />until the time herein provided as <br />permissible for sales, consumption or <br />display. No persons other than employees <br />shall be permitted within such <br />establishments during the closed periods. <br />All such "on sale' licensees may keep <br />licensed premises open at times when the <br />sale of imoxicating and non-alcoholic <br />beverage is prohibited for sale of food or <br />recreational activity, provided such <br />licensees shall lock, or in other manner <br />secure, all facilities or equipment for the <br />serving of such liquor starting not later than <br />1:00 a.m. until the time herein provided as <br />permissible for sales, consumption or <br />display. All public entrances to premises <br />open after 1:00 a.m. shall remain open and <br />unlocked during all times when said <br />premises have customers therein. No <br />licensee who elects to remain open after <br />1:00 a.m. shall permit any person to <br />consume or display any liquor in any <br />container, including glasses, in the <br />premises after 1:30 a.m. and until the time <br />herein provided as permissible for sales, <br />consumption or display. <br /> <br />iNVOLVING SALE TO <br /> <br />RESTRICTIONS <br />MINORS <br />1. No person shall give, sell, procure or <br /> purchase an alcoholic beverage to or for <br /> any person to whom the sale of alcoholic <br /> beverage is forbidden by law; nor shall a <br /> licensee, or his agent or employee, permit <br /> such persor~ to be furnished or consume any <br /> such alcoholic beverage on the licensed <br /> premises. <br /> No person under 21 years of age shall <br /> misrepresent his age for the purpose of <br /> obtaining intoxicatir, g liquor nor shall such <br /> person enter any premises licensed for the <br /> retail sale of an alcoholic beverage for the <br /> purpose of purchasing or having served or <br /> delivered to such person for consuming any <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />,13'7 <br /> <br /> <br />
