Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ~89-02- R~O~'"~nu APPROVING PL33~S A~D SPECIFICATIONS ~D ORDERING ADVERTISEMENTS FOR B~DS (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ~89-01 RIVER'S BEND P~qK SOUTH ~rvr~"-~'~ ?~EREAS, pursuant to a resolusion passed by the Ramsey City Council cn November !5, !988, Hakanscn Anderson Associates, Inc. has Frepared plans and specifications for the improvement Prc~ect ;$9-C1 River's Bend Park South Deve!cpment and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF tLAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, S.A~E OF MINNESOTA, as follows. 1) Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2) That the City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper no later than February 24, 1989 (Anoka County Union) and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for a period of time in accordance with state statutes, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Administrator until 1!:00 a.m. , ...... h time they will be Dubl~cly o~ened in on ~:arch 21, 1989 at ~.,~n . ' the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center by the City Administrator and city Engineer, will then be t.abuiated, and will be considered b~., the Ramsey City Council at 7:30 p.m. no later than March 28, '_~89 in the Council Cha~Joers. Any bidder responsibility is ~aestioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the city.
