Case <br /> <br /> ORDER PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> IMPROVEMES~ PROJECT %89- 3 <br />CENTRAL PARK IRRIGATION AND TURF ESTABLISHMENT <br /> <br />By: Merland Otto <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />in 1988, grading was completed for the ~=~=~ =~ and ...... ~ <br />the park center. 1987 park improvements included grading fcr the <br />soccer field and skating areas. A temporary cover of rye was <br />then established pending installation of irrigation and permanent <br />turf establishment. <br /> <br />Approximately 17 acres need to receive permanent seeding and turf <br />establishment. Extension of the existing irrigation system is <br />proposed for the soccer field, park center area and baseball <br />field. <br /> <br />Enclosed is a copy of the resolution ordering plans and <br />specifications for the project. <br /> <br />Recommendation- <br /> <br />It is recommended that Council order plans and specifications for <br />Improvement Project ~89- 3. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Resolution ~89-02-__ authorizing the City Engineer <br />to prepare plans and specifications for Improvement <br />Project #89- 3. <br /> <br />Review checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />City Engineer <br />Community Development Dir. x <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Supt. <br />Other <br /> <br />x <br /> <br /> <br />
