RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff recommends ordinance modifications to assist in resolving <br />these issues as follows: <br /> <br />Park dedication to continue to be based on gross area, <br />subdivided either by land dedication or cash <br />contribution. <br /> <br />When resubdivision occurs of a parcel which was a part <br />of an original plat, the City will give cash credit <br />for the park dedication or fee paid on that portion <br />originally subdivided at the time of resubdivision. <br />Interest should also be paid on credited amount. <br /> <br />Developer should be required, when land dedication is <br />re~.~uired, to make certain improvements to the park area <br />such as grading, trail construction, turf establishment <br />and establish park boundaries. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />No specific action required at this meeting unless you have <br />additional comments or suggestions, i.e., is staff's <br />thinking as above outlined consistent with the Council's <br />position on this subject? <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />~dministrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Community Devel- <br />ment Director <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
