Councilmember <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-02- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey receives an annual allocation of Community Development Block <br />Grant (CDBG) funds from Anoka County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County is responsible for the allocation and expenditure of CDBG funds from <br />the U.S. Department of ]lousing and Urban Deve}opment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on Tuesday, January 10: 1989, the Pmmsey City Council conducted a public hearing <br />regarding uses for 1989 CDBG funds; and <br /> <br />%rHEREAS, on January 10, 1989, City Council ca~ied a motion to desi~nate 1989 CDBG funds for <br />use in upgrading handicap access to City Hall and the new Central Park Activity Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, eligible expenditures of the CDBG funds include upgrading handicap accessibility to <br />public buildings. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Anoka Count>,, State <br />of Minnesota, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey apply to Anoka County for Community <br />Development Block Grant Funds to be used for upgrading handicap <br />accessibility to public buildings. <br /> <br />That a copy of this Resolution and a Preliminary Project Request Form be <br />forwarded to the Anoka County Administrator. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of this aforegoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the follo~fng voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />The following voted against the same: <br /> <br />The following abstained: <br /> <br />The following were absent: <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey CiB, Council <br />on this 28th day of February 1989. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
