Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-03- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CANCELLING FIRE CALL BILL DUE TO DEATH OF RESIDENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Finance Office issued Statement #1055 dated November 4, <br />1986 for charges incurred as a result of a fire call at 17412 Unicorn Street N.W. in the <br />amount of $225.00 on October 27, 1986; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this statement was addressed and mailed to Ms. Ruth M. Riewe, a <br />resident and property owner of 17412 Unicorn Street N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received notice from Mr. Paul J. Bakke, Attorney at Law, on <br />March 31, 1987 stating that Ms. Ruth M. Riewe passed away on February 22, 1987. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1 ) That the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the Finance Officer to remove <br />Statement #1055 for a fire call from accounts receivable due and charge the statement amount <br />of $225.00 to the Allowance Account for Uncollectible Accounts. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 28th day of March, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
