Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION #89-04- RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE CENTRAL PARK TURF ESTABLISHMENT AND IRRIGATION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 89-3 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Central Park Turf and Irrigation Project (Project 89-3) bids were received, opened and tabulated according to the law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Bidder Amount of Bid Central Landscaping, Inc. Natural Green, Inc. $41,900.00 $79,346.00 AND WHEREAS, it appears that Central Landscaping, Inc. of Forest Lake, MN is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Central Landscaping, Inc. of Forest Lake, MN in the name of the City of Ramsey for the Central Park Turf and Irrigation Project according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the Ramsey City Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk. 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey city Council this the llth day of April, 1989.
