Councilmember <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-04- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE CENTRAL <br />PARK TURF ESTABLISHMENT AND IRRIGATION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 89-3 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Central <br />Park Turf and Irrigation Project (Project 89-3) bids were received, <br />opened and tabulated according to the law, and the following bids <br />were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />Bidder <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br />Central Landscaping, Inc. <br />Natural Green, Inc. <br /> <br />$41,900.00 <br />$79,346.00 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Central Landscaping, Inc. of <br />Forest Lake, MN is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Central <br />Landscaping, Inc. of Forest Lake, MN in the name of the City of <br />Ramsey for the Central Park Turf and Irrigation Project according <br />to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the Ramsey <br />City Council and on file in the office of the City <br />Administrator/Clerk. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with <br />their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder shall <br />be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey city Council this the llth day of April, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
