CASE # 15 <br /> <br />STATUS OF ORDINANCE/POLICY REVIEW <br />By: Dave Hartley, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Over the pasl year a considerable amount of work has been done on reviewing existing <br />ordinances and policies and attempting to improve these policies or just bring them up-to-date. <br />Needless to say, this is a time consuming process and every effod is being made to involve all <br />those who may feel a need to be a part of the policy review. Recently it has become obvious that <br />the City Council has not been informed of the full extent of these efforts. <br /> <br />Enclosed is a summary of policy needs that should be helpful in illustrating the scope of the <br />tasks ahead. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Council action will be to receive the report and offer comments, if any. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />City Engineer <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
