COf~CT <br /> <br />This Contract, made and entered into this let day of May ,1989 <br />by and between the Gre~ter Anoka County Humane Society, 1411 Main, <br />Coon Rapids, Minnesota, 55435, hereinafter referred to as "Humane <br />Society," and the Cit~ of <br /> <br /> 15133 Nowthen Blvd. <br />___]3~I~s~ , <br /> <br /> tqDa%S~¥~_~. 55303 <br /> <br />hereinafter referred to ss "Municipality." <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WI~S, the Municipality is in need of animal' control <br /> serviceu; and <br /> <br /> WI{EI~S, the Humane Society is qualified and willing to <br /> provide such ~n <br /> <br /> ~~S, the Municipality wishes to purchase these services from <br /> the Humane Society in accordance with this contract. <br /> <br /> NOW,~O~, in consideration of the mutual covenants <br /> contained herein it is a~reed ~nd understood ~s follows: <br /> <br /> I. <br /> <br /> The term of the this Contract shall be from May 1, 1989 <br /> through .... ~_~_~3D__, unless e~rlier terminated as provided herein. <br /> <br /> The Municipality ~grees to purchase and the Humane <br /> Society agrees, to furnish the following services: <br /> <br /> A. B~sic Servicem <br /> <br /> Shelter for ~nimal drop-offs on ~ 2~-hour b~sis. <br /> <br /> 2. Animal examinations and veterinary care <br /> required whenever staff is available <br /> <br /> 3. BoardinG up to five days. <br /> <br /> 4. Euthanasia ~nd disposal if required. <br /> <br /> Collect license fees from owners who retrieve <br /> ~nimals not previously licensed. <br /> <br /> 8. Pick-ups of c~ptive animals during normal <br /> business hours. <br /> <br /> '7. Due to our status, ~fter hour pick-ups ~re not <br /> possible at this particular time.
