1) REFER TO SECTION II-A3: BOARDING <br /> The Humane Society will kennel the animals it picks up, at it's <br />Animal Shelter. Each animal will be sheltered for a maximum of five <br />(5) days from the date of pick up. All animals not claimed by their <br />owner after the five day period shall become the property of the <br />Humane Society. <br /> <br />2) REFER TO SECTION II-AS: LICENSE <br /> Prior to the release of an animal from the Shelter, the owner <br />shall display proof of current valid rabies vaccination. In the event <br />an owner is unable to display proof, the animal may still be released, <br />however, the Humane Society, shall give the owner a notice to present <br />proof of rabies vaccination to the appropriate City of Ramsey employee <br />at the Ramsey City Hall, within 72 hours (excluding weekends) of the <br />time of claiming the animal. <br /> <br />3) REFER TO SECTION II-A6: HOURS OF SERVICE <br /> The Humane Society will pick up captive animals during normal <br />business hours of 8:00 A.M.-6:00 P.M. Monday thru Friday, <br />10:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M. Saturdays, and 12:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. Sundays, <br />except on the following holidays: New Years Day. <br /> Easter Sunday <br /> Memorial Day <br /> 3uly 4TH <br /> Thanksgiving Day <br /> December 24TH <br /> December 25TH <br /> <br />4) REFER TO SECTION III-D: MONTHLY REPORT <br /> A. The Humane Society shall each month transmit a report to the <br />City showing the disposition of all animals impounded. Included with <br />this report shall be a remittance of license fees paid by animal <br />owners required by City Ordinance. The Humane Society will retain all <br />other charges. <br /> B. Prior to release of an animal from the Shelter, the owner <br />shall pay to the Humane Society, the City's impound fee together with <br />the Humane Society's boarding fee. <br /> <br />5) SERVICES NOT PROVIDED <br /> Humane Society employees shall have no animal ordinance <br />enforcement authority within the City of Ramsey, shall not be <br />authorized to issue citations, nor shall they respond to citizen <br />complaints regarding barking dogs,animals running at large, or other <br />animal nuisance type <br />complaints. The Humane Society will not receive skunks, and large <br />animals such as horses, cattle, exotics, ect. The Humane Society is . <br />not required by this agreement to do general patrolling of the City <br />for stray animals, and as provided in Paragraph 1 above, the Humane <br />Society will respond only to calls from authorized City personnel. <br /> <br /> <br />
