CASE # 1 <br /> <br /> CONSIDER ORDERING <br />TRUNK STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />SUNFISH LAKE BLVD, N,W, AND T,H, NO, 10 <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #88-27 <br /> By: Pete Raatikka, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On September 13, 1988 the City Council adopted Resolution #88-176 authorizing the City <br />Engineer to prepare a feasibility study for extending slorm sewer across T.H. No. 10 at Sunfish <br />Lake Blvd. N.W. The City Council also adopted a resolution requesting Cooperative Agreement <br />funds from Mn/DOT for the project. On February 14, 1989 City Council adopted a resolution <br />receiving the feasibility report and setting a date for the public hearing. The public hearing has <br />been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. on April 11, 1989. Upon receiving input, the City Council may <br />wish to proceed with project. <br /> <br />Based on the feasibility study, it is estimated that the City would receive $17,100, or <br />approximately 15% of the total project cost ($112,450), from Mn/DOT as cooperative <br />agreemenl funds. <br /> <br />Enclosed is a proposed resolution ordering the improvement and preparation of the plans and <br />specifications should you wish to proceed with the project. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Council action should be based on input received at the public hearing. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Resolution #89-04- ordering improvement and preparation of plans and <br />specifications for Trunk Storm Sewer Improvement Project #88-27. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />City Engineer <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
