HRA Executive Director Frolik replied she thinks this is a very reasonable amount for the work left to be done. Motion by Commissioner Elvig, seconded by Commissioner Strommen, to accept the resignation of J. Johnson, Inc. for the Ramsey Master Housing Plan and to direct the HRA Executive Director to enter into a Service Agreement with Bennett Community Consulting for the Master Housing Plan at a cost not to exceed $4,200.00 Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Olson, Commissioners Elvig, Strommen, Gamec, Jeffrey, and Look. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Dehen. Case #2: Habitat for Humanity Request for Letter of Endorsement Relating to Application for Minnesota Housing and Finance Association (MHFA) Funding HRA Executive Director Sylvia Frolik stated Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity is proposing to submit an application to MHFA for $160,000 in Community Reinvestment Fund (CRF) assistance for the 2008 phase of the townhomes being constructed in Town Center Gardens 3` Addition. Community endorsement is a must for the proposal submittal. Staff recommends that the HRA Chair be authorized to sign the letter of endorsement on behalf of the HRA. Motion by Commissioner Gamec, seconded by Commissioner Jeffrey, to authorize Chairperson Olson to issue a letter to the MHFA endorsing the Habitat for Humanity project in Town Center Gardens 3rd Addition. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Olson, Commissioners Gamec, Jeffrey, Elvig, Look, and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Dehen. COMMITTEE REPORTS None.
