CLASSIC. <br />2015 First Avenue, Anoka, MN 55303 <br />Phone: (763) 576-2700 Website: www.ci.anoka.mn.us <br />CITY OF ANOKA, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION <br />RES-2013-XX <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2030 GENERAL LAND USE MAP <br />OF THE CITY OF ANOKA COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />(Rum River Shores) <br />WHEREAS, Landmark Development of Anoka has requested an amendment to the 2030 <br />General Land Use Map to change the 9.7 acres of land shown in Exhibit A generally located <br />north of County Road 116, west of the Rum River Library and is located outside of the Rum <br />River Wild and Scenic River District from Medium Density Residential to Low Density <br />Residential to facilitate a single-family residential development; <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statutes require a City's comprehensive plan to be consistent with <br />the zoning ordinance; <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned Sensitive Development District; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Anoka Planning Commission held a public hearing on July 9, 2013 <br />regarding the proposed changes in land use for the property mentioned above; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Anoka Planning Commission made a recommendation to the Anoka <br />City Council to amend the 2030 General Land Use Map changing the land use designation from <br />Medium Density Residential to Low Density Residential; <br />NOW, THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED THAT The Anoka City Council approves an <br />amendment the 2030 General Land Use Map that would change the property as shown in Exhibit <br />A from Medium Density Residential to Low Density Residential land use subject to <br />Metropolitan Council review and approval. <br />Adopted by the Anoka City Council this 5th day of August 2013. <br />ATTEST: <br />Amy T.
