PC CASE <br /> <br />CONSIDER ENDING PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br /> FOR HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER <br /> <br />Jim Norman, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />Givonna Reed was hired as the Human Resources Manager effective May 14, 2003. <br />Ms. Reed has successfully completed the required six-month probationary period and her <br />supervisor, the Assistant City Administrator, recommends that Ms. Reed be retained as <br />the Human Resources Manager. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Based on satisfactory completion of the six-month probationary period, staff recommends <br />that Givonna Reed be retained as the Human Resources Manager. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Motion recommending that the City Council adopt a resolution ending the probationary <br />period for Givonna Reed and granting her status as the full-time, regular Human <br />Resources Manager. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Administrator <br />Assistant City Administrator <br /> <br />PC: 11-25-03 <br /> <br />G:\Administration\HumanResources\l 1-25-03 PC Meeting kerns\Reed, Givonna I 1-25-03.doc <br /> <br /> <br />
