Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO BEGIN RECRUITMENT <br /> PROCESSES FOR NEW POSITIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, for several months the City Council has been discussing the 2004 <br />budget and plans to hire a Patrol Officer, Building Inspector, Fire Inspector, Public <br />Works Maintenance Worker and Information Technology Manager; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there appears to be consensus that each of these positions will be <br />approved as part of the 2004 budget; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has requested authorization to begin the recruitment processes <br />these positions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Confitrns the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br /> Grant staff authorization to begin the recruitment processes to hire a Patrol <br /> Officer (I~FTE), Building Inspector (.5 FTE), Fire Inspector (.5 FTE), Public <br /> Works Maintenance Worker (1-FTE) and Information Technology Manager <br /> (1-FTE). <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the' following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 25th day of November, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />
