CASE #9 <br /> <br />CONSIDER CHANGE ORDER FOR <br />CENTRAL PARK TURF ESTABLISHMENT <br />AND IRRIGATION PROJECT <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #89-3 <br />By: Dave Hartiey, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At this time, the plans for establishing turf around the Park Center building at Central Park <br />call for sodding on the west side only where slopes are significant. However, on June 10, 1989 <br />the Lions Club will be holding the third annual Ramsey Community Picnic. Grass seed will not <br />have had an opportunity to establish a turf by that time and the effort to establish such turf will <br />be greatly impaired by heavy traffic. <br /> <br />The change order and proposed resolution will be available at the meeting. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> \ <br /> <br />It is the recommendation of Staff that the City Council consider authorization to apply sod rather <br />than seed within 30 feet of the Park Center building.
