Councilmember <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-05- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 1989 PAVEMENT <br />CRACK FILLING, SERVICE PROJECT 89-2 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an invitation for bids Ma5~ 1,-19E9 for <br />1989 Pavement Crack Filling (Service Project 8~-2), bids were <br />received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following <br />bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />Bidder <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that <br />lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />of is t~he <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby <br />authorized and directed to award a contract to in the <br />name of the City of Ramsey for 1989 Pavement Crack Filling, Service <br />Project 89-2, according to the plans and specifications prepared <br />by the city Engineer and on file in the office of the City <br />Administrator/Clerk. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with <br />their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and <br />two next lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been <br />signed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the 9th day of May, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
