RESOLUTION #89-06 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE <br />OF PARK EQUIPMENT FOR <br /> TITTERUD PARK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey has approved <br />the 1989 Parks Capital Improvements Budget which includes $3,000.00 <br />plus overhead for purchase of playground equipment for Titterud <br />Park and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said funds, overhead and contingency, the total <br />amount not to exceed $3,900.00, are to be appropriated from the <br />general fund 1989 budget for parks capital improvements and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Parks Commission at their June 8, 1989 meeting <br />recommended the purchase of "Landscape Structures" model 8986 <br />(formerly 8742) at a wholesale list price of $2,701.00. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That City Staff is directed to purchase said equipment <br />in accordance with City purchase procedures. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That city staff is directed to enlist the help of <br />volunteer groups to the extent possible for installing <br />the equipment at the park. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc provide a layout <br />sketch for placement of the equipment at the park. <br /> <br />That purchase of sand or pea rock, and border timbers are <br />hereby authorized, if necessary, to provide a resilient <br />surface under and around the play apparatus° <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution wad duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the 13th day of June, 1989o <br /> <br /> <br />
