DRAFT - JUNE 21, 1989 <br /> <br />that the chamber will be full of grit before the next scheduled <br />inspection. <br /> <br />Regional Detention Basins <br /> <br />ReEional detention basins must: <br /> <br />Conform to stormwater runoff criteria. <br /> <br />Have water quality features and dead storage designed based on a <br />5-year (20 percent probability) runoff event. <br /> <br />Be desiEned in ,ccordance with the NURP Euidelines. <br /> <br />Include an outlet control structure that effectively prevent~ <br />floatinE debris and oils from entering the downstream conveyor <br />system. <br /> <br />Sediment Collection and Nutrient Entrapment <br /> <br /> Wetlands used for sediment collection and nutrient entrapment must <br />conform to the criteria for on-site or regional detention basins (whichever <br />are appropriate). In addition, these wetlands and detention basins must: <br /> <br />Provide an outlet structure capable of draininE the wetland or <br />basin subst&ntially dry :o permit harvestinE of wetland veEe:ation <br />and removal of Sediment. <br /> <br />Be harvested every fall (usually before October 15) b>' cuttin~ the <br />veEetation and removinE the cuttinEs :o an approved disposal site. <br /> <br />23020&?/LRRWMO.WP/SAM <br /> <br /> <br />
