Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #~9-06- <br /> <br />Resolution granting final plat approval of North Forty 2nd Addition. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Richard J. Sybrant, hereafter referred to as "Developer", has properly applied for <br />plat approval on the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />The Southeast Quarter of the Norlhwest Quarter of Section 17, Township 32, Range 25, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission met on March 3, 1988 and <br />recommended the Developer 1o proceed to the preliminary plat stage; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission met on December 8, 1988 and <br />recommended that seventy-five feet (75') along the south side of the property and one (1) acre <br />in the Southwest portion of the plat be dedicated to the City with the remainder in cash to be used <br />to satisfy park dedication requirements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission met on May 2, 1989 and recommended <br />approval of the preliminary plat of North Forty 2nd Addition contingent upon compliance to the <br />City Engineer's review dated April 27, 1989 and approval by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council met on May 23, 1989 and approved the preliminary plat <br />for the North Forty 2nd Addition. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Anoka County, <br />State of Minnesota, as follows: That final plat approval of North Forty 2nd Addition is granted <br />contingent upon the following: <br /> <br />MARKETABLE TITLE. The Developer providing proof of marketable title for the property <br />to the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />PARK DEDICATION REQUIREMENTS. Park dedication requirement shall be fulfilled in <br />accordance with City Council's request for park dedication in effect at the time of the <br />application and in accordance with the Park and Recreation Commission recommendation. <br />The park dedication shall be satisfied by land dedication as shown on the plat which <br />amounts to ~'.~ acres or 8.27% of the land in the subdivision. In addition, the <br />Developer shall pay Seven Hundred Twelve Dollars ($712.00) to satisfy the remainder <br />of the park dedication requirement, prior to the recording of the plat. <br /> <br />IMPROVEMENTS. The'Developer will construct improvements shown on the plans as <br />directed by the City Engineer, in accordance with the City standards and specifications. <br />These improvements include the construction of those streets within the plat known as <br />Okapi Street NW and 158th Lane NW, including bituminous surfacing and related <br />ditches, grading, backslopes, drainage and seeding. The Developer shall also be <br />responsible for restoration of the Okapi Street NW and 158th Lane NW cul-de-sacs to <br /> <br /> <br />
