The bid was from Allied Blacktop Co. in the amount of <br />$27,166.70. <br /> <br />The engineer's estimated construction cost for the project was <br />$28,978.50. The total low bid received is approximately 6.2% below <br />the engineer's estimate. <br /> <br />The low bidder, Allied Blacktop Co., has satisfactorily completed <br />projects in the area.
