Hr. and Mrs. Jarson had purchased a <br />tax delinquent parcel a few months back, and since that time have <br />applied to the City of Ramsey for a building permit, obtained the <br />building permit, and built a home upon this property. This <br />property is legally described as Lot 3, Block 5, WHISPERING 'PINES <br />ESTATES, Anoka County, Minnesota, PIN 120-32-25-24-0009. When my <br />clients attempted to obtain title insurance upon this property, <br />they were informed that there was an easement for drainage and <br />utility purposes across this property in favor of the City of <br />Ramsey (a copy of the deed creating the easement is enclosed <br />herewith). <br /> <br />Upon learning of this easement across their property, my clients <br />contacted the City of Ramsey regarding this easement. Enclosed <br />with my letter, please find a copy of a letter from the City of <br />Ramsey which reponds to the concerns of my clients. This letter <br />from Hr. Banwart for the City of ~amsey states that before the <br />City will release the drainage easement across the property, they <br />are requiring my clients to deposit $1,000.00 with the City and <br />that they will be responsible for any additional costs incurred <br />by the City to conduct a publication, public hearing, surveying, <br />engineering, and administration for the vacation of this <br />easement.
