I. Solid and Hazardous Waste This project is a Residential Development and will not generate any hazardous waste. The solid waste generated by the project is estimated to be 151 tons per year. This will be disposed of at the landfill or recycled. (EAW) Fish and Wildlife Wetland areas will be preserved to the greatest extent possible. A small part of a wetland will be filled to allow street access. To minimize the loss of this wetland area, the developer will create additional wetlands in the park and on the rear yards of adjoining lots. (Comments to EAW and EAW) Archeological and Historical Resources The proposed project has a relatively high probability of containing prehistoric archeological sites. Therefore, an archeological survey will be completed. (EAW and response from the Minnesota Historical Society). Parks and Special Resource Areas Construction of this project will not create any adverse impacts on parks or special resource area. As part of the project, a new park will be created in conjunction with the developments of Windemere Woods and Cedar Hills. (EAW) Roads and Traffic The proposed development is estimated to generate approximately a total of 826 to 1020 ADT. Thirty-three percent of the trips are estimated to be to the west and 67% are estimated to be to the south along County Road No. 116. The traffic estimated to go west will utilize streets in the proposed plat of Cedar Hills and outlet to Sunfish Lake Bouelvard by a proposed street south of Hunter's Hill development. Mn/DOT states that the impact on T.H.'s 10 and 47 would be only moderate. (EAW and comments from Mn/DOT) Utilities A new sewer line will be required to serve this and other proposed developments in the area. Adequate energy resources are available to construct and serve the project. Natural gas to the project will be provided by North Central Public Service and electricity to the project will be provided by Anoka Electric Cooperative. (EAW)
