the extension of 171st Avenue Northwest. Chairman Zimmerman requested that the City Attorney <br />pro~dde clarification regarding the status of Bison Street and the easement along the South border <br />of Dellwood and the responsibility of the developer to pave thai portion of Bison abutting Dellwood <br />Hills Addition. <br /> <br />On May 11, 1989, City staff met with the Developers of Dellwood Hills Addition and the property <br />o~mers to thc South of the proposed addition. The possible extension of 171st Avenue Northwest was <br />discussed. The proper[3' owner to the South of Dellwood Hills Addition presented a future sketch <br />plan for his property. Also since the May 2nd Planning & Zoning meeting, the owner of the <br />Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of <br />Section 9 has indicated his interest in developing his property. The development of this property <br />would extend Bison Street Northwest to the South. Lee Hennen, developer, also stated that he was <br />willing to subside the hard surfacing of Bison at a rate of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) towards <br />each of the other parcels on Bison. The drainage of the site was also discussed. The developer of <br />Dellwood Hills Addition also has proxfded for a Northerly street easement towards County Road <br />#63. Traffic through Golden Eagle Estates should be minimal with no adverse impact. <br /> <br />On June 12, 1989, the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission moved to receive public input in <br />thc form of written petitions and correspondence to reflect that the citizens a~acent to the property <br />are not opposed to the proposed plat, but that their main concern is additional traffic in their <br />neighborhood. The Planning and Zoning Commission moved to recommend preliminary plat <br />approval for Dellwood Hills Addition as submitted, subject to the conditions listed in the <br />Engineer's review dated April 27, 1989, specifically, that the applicant be required to improve or <br />arrange for improvement of Bison Street l~rW at least form Count)' Road #63 to 171st Avenue l~rW <br />(No. 4 of the Engineer's recommendation). <br /> <br />On June 27, 1989, the Ramsey City Council approved the preliminary plat of Dellwood Hills <br />Addition contingent upon resolution of the issue to pave Bison Street Northwest from Count), Road <br />#63 to 171st.
