Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Shumway, Bawden and Deemer. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Terry. <br /> <br />Mr. Thomas Opsahl stated that he is opposed to developing the streets in Alicia Addition lo the <br />south and east property boundaries as he believes he has met the City's requirements by <br />providing easements for the future extension ol those streets. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman noled tho1 if the streets are not fully developed al this time, the future <br />developers of adjacenl properties will nol want Io accepl the cost of completing lhe slreets in <br />Alicia Addition in order to access their respective developments. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by commissioner Shumway to recommend that City <br />Council approve the preliminary plat o4 Alicia Addition contingent upon the developer complying <br />with the City Engineer's report daled July 5, 1989, specifically, that 1here is 1o be no access <br />onto County Road #63 from Lot 3, Block 1; thal a variance be granted to Lot 2 for the minimum <br />width requirement; that a drainage easement be shown on the plat; submittal of soil borings to <br />the City Engineer, further, that per the Commission's previous motion, streets will be <br />developed to property perimeters. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Shumway, Bawden and Deemer. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Terry. <br /> <br />Recommendations: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that park dedication be satisfied in cash. <br /> <br />Staff recommends preliminary plat approval of Alicia Addition contingent upon meeting the <br />items listed in the City Engineer's review dated July 5, 1989; with 1.) no access onto County <br />Road #63 from Lot 3, Block 1, 2.) variance be granted to Lot 2 for the minimum width <br />requirement, 3.) drainage easement be shown on the plant and 4.) submittal of soil borings to <br />the City Engineer. <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Commission also recommends that streets be developed to property <br />perimeters. <br /> <br /> <br />
