The Planning and Zoning Commission met on August 1 to review the request and expressed a <br />great deal of concern with the history of violations of the existing conditional use permit, the past <br />tendency of this operation to accumulate inoperable vehicles and already serious traffic conditions <br />in the area which are aggravated by the public parking in road righl-of-ways to look at auto <br />inventor)' during off-business hours. It was noted that the City should consider requesting that the <br />County and State post 'no parking' signs along Cry. Rd. #56 at the Hwy. #10 intersection and all <br />along the Hwy. #10 corridor. The Commission has also requested <br />that if the City Council chooses to approve the request to expand Ramsey Auto Sales, that the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission be directed to review and provide input to the proposed <br />conditional use permit a~eement. <br /> <br />Whether the expansion is approved or not, the applicants are requesting, and City Staff is <br />recommending, that either the existing conditional use permit or the new conditional use permit be <br />consistent with City Council action regarding the Holiday Station site plan with respect to <br />providing an easement along the northern boundary of the property for future frontage road/utility <br />purposes. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Findings of Fact ~ relating to Mr. Robert Wojcik and Mr. Louis Wojcik's request <br />for a conditional use permit to expand Ramsey Auto Sales. <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br /> <br />
