Voling Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Shumway, Bawden and Deemer. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Terry. <br /> <br />Mr. Thomas Opsahl stated thai he is opposed to develo3ing the streets in Alicia Addition to the <br />south and east property boundaries as he believes he has met the City's requirements by <br />providing easements for the future extension of those streets. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman noted 1hat if the streets are not fuliy developed at this time, the fulure <br />developers of adjacent properties will not want to accept the cost of completing the streets in <br />Alicia Addition in order to access their respective developments. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by commissioner Shumway to recommend that City <br />Council approve the preliminaw plat of Alicia Addition contingent upon the developer complying <br />with 1he City Engineer's Teport dated July 5, 1989, specifically, that there is lo be no access <br />onto County Road ¢63 from Lot 3, Block 1; that a variance be granted to Lot 2 for the minimum <br />width requirement; that a drainage easement be shown on the plat; submittal of soil borings to <br />the City Engineer. further, that per the Commission's previous motion, streets will be <br />developed to property perimeters. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman. Commissioners hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Shumway, Bawden and Deemer. Voling No: None. Absent: Commissioner Terry. <br /> <br />On July 25, 1989, the Ramsey City Council approved the preliminary plat for Alicia Addition <br />contingent upon either the roads being fully deve;~ped to the property boundaries or the <br />developer providing a letter of credit for the paving of road extensions in the future. <br /> <br />Recommendations: <br /> <br />Staff recommends final plat approval of Alicia Addition. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt/not adopt Resolution #89-08-_ to approve the final plat of Alicia Addition. <br /> <br /> <br />
