REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO OPERATE AN AUTO <br />DETAIL SHOP IN THE R-1 RURAL RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT; <br /> CASE OF MR. DONALD MILINKOVICH <br /> By: Planning Assistant Syh'ia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Donald Milinkovich is requesting a conditional use permit to operate an auto detail shop in the <br />accessory structure on his property at 6501 Green Valley Road. Mr. Milinkovich's property is <br />approximately 7.5 acres in size. Mr. Milinkovich's proposed operation consists of performing an <br />intensive cleaning of vehicles in preparation for their resale at used car lots. The auto detail <br />business wilt not involve any auto body repair or painting operations. In addition, no engine <br />cleaning will occur on the proper~y unless a residue collection system is installed in compliance <br />with local, State and Federal standards, iN'tr. Milinkovich has stated that he will never have more <br />than one customer vehicle on his property at a time. No public comments were submitted; a <br />letter was received from Wayne Davis at 6530 Green Valley Road in support of Mr. Milinkovich's <br />request. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of Mr. Milinkovich's request for a <br />conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Findings of Fact relating to Mr. Donald Milinkovich's request for a conditional <br />use permit to operate an auto detail shop on his property at 6501 Green Valley Road. <br /> <br /> <br />
