( 6 ) WASTES: All wastes shall be disposed ef in a manner that is not dangerous to public health and safety and in accordance-with the City's sewer disposal system ordinance. Wastes may not acculmmulate on the site, except where fully screened from adjacent properties. Wastes discharges into ~ public sewer system shall not exceed limits established by the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission. (7) GLARE: Any lighting used to illuminate an off-street parking area, sign, or other structure, shall be arranged so as to deflect light away from adjoining residential districts or from public streets. 170.017B a, DRIVEWAYS No poured concrete driveway shall project beyond the property line into a street right-of-way where curb, gutter, and permanent surfacing is not in place. b. Bituminous driveways adjacent to unsurfaced roadways shall be terminated one foot from the edge of travelled roadway. Bituminous driveways on surfaced roadways may extend to and adjoin the e~'isting bituminous. d. Where necessary, the lot owner shall install a culvert of adequate size, as determined by the building official. All culverts shall be a minimum of ~ti='~een inches in diameter. e. Ail driveways shall maintain at least a 3 foot side yard from adjacent property lines. f. No residential driveway access shall be allowed onto designated cc!leo:or or thoroughfare streets. g. No residential driveway shall exceed twen=y (20) feet in width at the point where it adjoins the street. 170.017C SCREEI~ING %~here screening is required, it shall consist of plantings and landscaping, or a combination of plantings, landscaping and fencing, as approved by the Planning Commission. All plantings and fencing shall be placed a minimum of twenty feet from the street. However, in no event shall the plantings or fencing be placed on the public right-of-way. The plantings ma7 be placed on the property line and ~he fencing may be cons:rutted ~'ithin five feet of the property line. 2'he applicant shall provide to the Planning Commission a ~etailed schematic drawing the the screening proposal, which drawing shall show the appropriate dimensions, types and sizes of the proposed fencing, landscaping, and plantings. In those areas where screening is required, all open areas cf any site, lot, tract,, or parcel shall be graded to provide proper drainage, and except for areas used for parking, drives or storage, shall be landscaped with trees, ~hrubs, or planted ground cover.
