time the building permit was issued. It shall be the owner's <br />responsibility to see that this landscaping is maintained in an <br />attractive and well kept condition. This provision will apply <br />to the original developer, his heirs, successors and assigns. A <br />performance bond or cash escrow on the provisions of the <br />screening and landscaping section shall run to the City of Ramsey <br />for a period of t~.o full growing seasons following installaion. <br />The bond or escrow amount will be a reasonable estimate of the <br />project cost as determined by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />In all districts, all merchandise, materials and equipment <br />stores, kept or displayed outside a building shall be screened, <br />with the following exceptions: <br /> <br />a. Retail merchandise being displayed in front of a <br /> structure lawfully used as a place for retail sales. <br /> Retail merchandise otherwise lawfully displayed in <br /> the setback area shall be screened , except from a <br /> side facing a public stree:; <br />b. Materials and equipment being used for construction <br /> ox the premises; <br />~. Merchandise located on service station pump islands; <br />d. Materials, equipment and merchandise in industrial <br /> dis:riots, except that the side adjacent to a public <br /> street, residential zone or use shall be screened. <br /> <br />The screening required in this section shall be at least five (5) <br />feet tall, but shall not extend within twenty (20) feet of any <br />street or driveway. The screening shall be placed along property <br />1 ine s. <br /> <br />In the business or industrial districts, all uses shall provide a <br />landscaped area along all s~reets and areas separating different <br />uses (business from residential). This shall be kept clear of <br />all structures, storage and off-street parking. This area <br />shall be at least twenty (20) feet in depth along all streets, <br />measured from the street right-of-way. Except for driveways, the <br />area shall extend along both streets in the case of a corner lot. <br /> <br />All structures, required landscaping and any fences shall be <br />maintained so as nsf to be unsightly to the adjoining areas. <br /> <br />170.0!7D OFF-ST?~ET PA~.ING <br /> <br />All off-street parking areag shall be surfaced with blacktop~oncrete. Any <br />other surface material shall require approval by the City Engineer prior to <br />application.
