CASE # 7 <br /> <br /> DISCUSS PURCHASING POLICY <br />By: I)avid Hartley, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Section 10.13 of the City Code sets out the purchasing policy for the City of Ramsey. In his <br />comments, Ken Malloy of Pannell Kerr and Forster (the City's independent auditor) made mention <br />of the purchasing policy for the City of Ramsey and suggested that efforts be made to streamline <br />this policy while maintaining thc appropriate checks and balan-ccs. · <br /> <br />Staff is not prepared to make proposals at this time for the City Council but would like to begin a <br />dialogue of talking about the purchasing policy and the roles of individuals in implementing the <br />budget.
