Utilization Analysis <br /> <br />In identifying the recruitment area and determining the availability of women and minorities <br />within that area, statewide statistics were used tor the Officials and Administrators,- <br />"X' ~{-'.':" Professional and Technical, and Protected Services Job Groups. Statistics from Anoka County's <br />............. labor force were used in the remaining job groups. <br /> <br />...-'.._ :XX:~::.:.:;.. Recruitment areas were determined based on applications for employment received for positions <br /> ..... Results of Analysis of Potential Problem Areas are listed below: <br /> <br />-Workforce Composition <br /> <br />In reviewing the availability analysis of women and minorities, both are underutilized by <br />one at the City of Ramsey, <br /> <br />Corrective Action <br /> <br />Within the last year, the City has added six full-time positions to it's workforce. Of those <br />positions, four out of six were filled by females. At this time 1here are three anticipated full- <br />time positions that will be crealed and/or filled within the next year. Those are in the <br />Services, Professional/Technical, and Laborers Job Groups. The current availability of <br />women and minorities in these positions is low. The City will expand recruiting efforts to <br />attract qualified women and minorities. A list of organizations, educational facilities and <br />surrounding municipalities that will receive notice of job vacancies, will be maintained for <br />each position. <br /> <br />- Applicant Flow Composition <br /> <br />The City has not tracked applicant flow in the past. <br /> <br />-Total Selection Process <br /> <br />The City needs to expand recruiting efforts to attract qualified women and minorities. <br /> <br />,Corrective Action <br /> <br />A list of organizations, educational facilities, and. surrounding municipalities that will <br />receive notice of job vacancies, will be maintained for each Position. <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br /> <br />
