ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />PROVISIONS OF THE WATER AA~D SEWER UTILITIES CHAPTER <br /> <br />By: <br /> <br />Merland Otto <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On July 13, 1989, Metropolitan Council approved the city's.request <br />for expansion of the MI/SA area. As a condition of approval, the <br />City agreed to amend certain provisions of its City Code pertaining <br />to sewer connections. This amendment defines when municipal <br />sanitary sewer is determined to be available to properties and <br />conforms with the definition of the Metropolitan Waste Control <br />Commission.
