ORDINANCE g89- <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 210.2 known as the Water and Sewer Utilities Chapter of the City <br />Code. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 210.2 of the City Code. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT <br /> <br /> Section 210.2 of the Ramsey City Code pertaining to Applications for Service, Subdivision <br />3 is repealed and is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> The owner of all dwellings, buildings, other structures or properties where cesspools or <br /> septic tanks have been in existence prior to construction of a sanitary sewer shall connect <br /> with the public sanitary sewer when such cesspools and septic tanks are in need of repair, <br /> reconstruction or pumping, or within two (2) years of the date that municipal sanitary <br /> sewer service is available to the premises, whichever is fh'st to occur. Municipal sanitary <br /> sewer service shall be determined to be available to the premises when trunk or lateral <br /> sewer occupies the right-of-way or easement adjacent to or on the property. <br /> ow~e~-who-ean-de~tmte In ~h~ ~vent that the City Council finds that hookup to <br /> municipal sewer is not feasible due to distance, topography, physical barrier or pending <br /> land use changetshall not be required to hookup until such condition changes thereby <br /> allowing for feasib2h--'6b~n~fion~ ~ - <br />SECTION 2.
