b) c) d) Groups performing a public service (e.g., AA, Mediation Services, educational services, etc.) Groups whose purpose is to perform public service (e.g., Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Ramsey Youth Athletic Association) Groups who wish to use the facility for recreation or routine meetings 3) General public 4) Church or religious organizations may use the lower level south and Council Chambers after entering into an agreement with the City of Ramsey which clarifies the proper separation of church and State. Reservafiol~: Reservations may be made no more than six (6) months in advance with the exception of perpetual reservations. Governmental functions should be scheduled at a minimum of three (3) days in advance. However, this requirement may be waived if the need is great or an emergency exists. Governmental functions may supersede any other use with or without reservations if: 1) three (3) days notice is given; and 2) there is no other practical alternative. Organized groups wishing to make perpetual reservations may do so by making application in writing at least 60 days in advance. Perpetual reservations will be granted only to organized groups providing or whose purpose is to provide a punic service. All perpetual reservations will be reviewed annually for compliance with this policy. Organized groups and the general public may make reservations for use of the facilities in writing at least 14 days in advance. .F. ecs and Deposits: In order to meet the maintenance costs which result from continued use of these facilities, a $5.00 per day non-refundable fee is charged for all reservations of the Ramsey Municipal Center except governmental functions, use by senior citizen groups, and any non-profit group or organization predominantly consisting of or providing services to school age children. Keys may be issued for access to the Ramsey Municipal Center wkh a $15.00 key deposit which is refunded with the return of the key. Hours of Use: The Ramsey Municipal Center may be used by organized groups and the general public between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Use of F~,~rniture and Equipment: Chairs and tables may be moved about within the room in which they are located, but not moved from room to room. All furniture and equipment should be used for its intended purpose. If some furniture is in use it may not be used (e.g., a table holding a display or appliance may not be used for some other purpose).
