The pits will be 20' to 40' in width, 40' to 60' in <br />length and 10' to 12' in depth. Each pit will be bermed <br />along its southwestern, western and northwestern sides <br />with a 7' berm to significantly reduce visibility from <br />Highway 10 and to eliminate as much as possible any winds <br />from reaching into the fire and scattering embers. In <br />the event of a need to extinguish, the berms will be used <br />as smother cover. <br /> <br /> A representative of the'permittee will be present <br />at the site at any time burning is occuring and notice <br />shall be given to the fire chief Of the ti~e and location <br />of any burning. <br /> <br />by Paul R.
