Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-10- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF COMPUTER WORKSTATIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the 1989 budget appropriated $30,000.00 for building and <br />structures under the subclassification General Government Buildings; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the need for the entire $30,000.00 appropriation in General <br />Government Buildings is less than originally expected; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need to add five additional computer <br />workstations to its data processing system. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the 1989 budget is hereby amended by reducing Subfunction 1194; <br />General Government Buildings; Object #45220; Buildings and Structures by $16,500.00 and <br />increasing Subfunction 1192; Data Processing; Object #45270; Equipment by $16,500.00. <br /> <br /> 2) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to execute the <br />appropriate documents to purchase from the State of Minnesota Contract #C-405(5) five Macintosh <br />SE/30 computers with 40 megabyte hard disk. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereof, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 10th day of October, 1989. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
