Councilmember <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-10- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR OAKWOOD HILLS <br />RESTORATION PROJECT. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for bids for the Oakwood Hills <br />Restoration Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated <br />according to law, and the following bids were received complying <br />with the proposal and contract documents: <br /> <br />Bidder <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br />W.B. Miller, Inc. <br />Central Landscaping, Inc. <br /> <br />$4,855.00 <br />$5,125.00 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that W.B. Miller of Ramsey, Minnesota <br />is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with W.B. Miller, <br />Inc. of Ramsey, Minnesota in the name of the City of Ramsey for <br />Oakwood Hills Restoration Project according to the plans and <br />specifications prepared by the City Engineer and on file in the <br />office of the City Administrator/Clerk. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with <br />their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and <br />next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been <br />signed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolutions was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey city Council this the 24th day of October, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
