Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #89-10- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE DECENTRALIZED <br />BRUSH CHIPPING PROGRAM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has awarded the City of Ramsey a demonstration <br />grant; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has received the following competitive bids from <br />independent contractors: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the second contract for Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) has been expended: <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1 ) That the City Council hereby authorizes Ceres Tree Company to be the primary <br />contractor for the Decentralized Brush Chipping Program and that Gorecki & Co. be the <br />secondary contractor. <br /> <br /> 2 ) That the City Council renew the contract for an additional Seventeen Thousand <br />Five Hundred Dollars ($17,500.00) with the primary contractor. <br /> <br /> 3 ) That funds from the Ramsey Decentralized Brush Chipping Project (fund 232) <br />be allocated for this contract. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 24th day of October, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
