Councilmember <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION %89-10- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR BENTEC ENGINEERING CORP. <br />(PROJECT #87-19 ELEVATED STORAGE TANK NO. 1 CONTROLS). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this <br />project on April 14, 1988; and . <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted <br />Resolution %89- awarding the bid to Bentec Engineering Corp. for <br />the construction of elevated Storage Tank No. 1 Controls; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Pete 'Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson <br />Associates, Inc. recommended partial payment to Bentec Engineering <br />Corp. in the amount of $2,470.00. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment <br />to Bentec Engineering Corp. for the construction of elevated <br />Storage Tank No. 1 Controls in the amount of $2,470.00. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. <br /> <br /> 3) The amount of this partial payment is not included in <br />Resolution #89-10- approving payment of bills for the month of <br />October, 1989. <br /> <br /> 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided <br />a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution Was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the 24th day of October, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
