Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #89-11- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CLASSIFICATION AND REQUESTING THAT <br />TIlE ANOKA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS WITHHOLD FROM <br />SALE, PIN: 28-32-25-31-0002 FOR PUBLIC PURPOSE AS A ROAD RIGHT-OF- <br />WAY. <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Anoka County, Minnesota, <br />approved Anoka County Resolution #89-112, #89-113 and #89-114 providing authority under <br />Chapter 282 of Minnesota Statutes for public sale of lands situated in Anoka County which have <br />forfeited to the State of Minnesota for non-payment of taxes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board of Commissioners must classify all tax <br />forfeited land as conservation or non-conservation under Section 202.01 of Minnesota Statutes; <br />and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, the Anoka County Board of Commissioners has considered the <br />present use of adjacent lands found in said list, the productivity of the soil, the character of the <br />forest or other growth and accessibility of the lands listed to establish roads, schools and other <br />public services and their particular suitability or desirablility for particular uses; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, tile classification sale of any tax forfeit land lying within the bounds <br />of any organized town with a taxable value in excess of $20,000.00 or incorporated municipality, <br />must be approved by tile council of such city, insofar as the lands located therein are considered. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City of Ramsey hereby requests that Anoka County withhold from <br />public sale PIN: 28-32-25-31-0002. <br /> <br /> 2) That a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to Anoka County <br />reflecting said action. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 14th day of November, 1989. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
