ORDINANCE #89-. <br /> <br />Chapter 150.02 of the City Code <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE MINNESOTA STATE BUILDING CODE: PROVIDING <br />FOR ITS ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT: REGULATING THE ERECTION, <br />CONSTRUCTION, ENLARGEMENT, ALTERATION, REPAIR, MOVING, REMOVAL, <br />DEMOLITION, CONVERSION, OCCUPANCY, EQUIPMENT USE, HEIGHT, AREA AND <br />MAINTENANCE OF ALL BUILDINGS AND/OR STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF RAMSEY: <br />PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS AND COLLECTION OF FEES <br />THEREFORE AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />Section 1. Duildirlg Code. <br /> <br /> The Minnesota State Building Code, established pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 16B.59 <br />through 16B.73, one copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk is hereby adopted as <br />the building code for the City of Ramsey. Such code is hereby incorporated in this ordinance as <br />completely as if set out in full. <br /> <br />A. UBC Appendix Chapters 7 and 70 except 6 and 8 of 7003. <br />15. Chapter 1335 - Floodproofing Regulations, parts 1335.0600 to 1335.1200, <br /> and FPR Sections 205.4 to 208.2. <br /> <br />1300 - Code Administration. <br />1305 - Adoption of 1985 Uniform Building Code by Reference. <br /> <br />Conditioning and <br /> <br />Section 2. Organization and Enforcement. <br /> <br /> The organization of the Building Department and enforcement of the Code shall be as <br />established by Chapter 2 of the Uniform Building Code 1985 Edition. The Code shall be enforced <br />within the incorporated limits of the City, and extraterritorial limits permitted by Minnesota <br />Statutes, 1984. <br /> <br />The Building Department shall be the Building Code Department of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br /> <br />
